Highly recommend getting your next tattoo with Polina! I now have 5 beautiful pieces from her - 3 of them have blended into a partial sleeve so seamlessly, it looks like one piece. The level of detail and fine line work/shading always blows me away. As someone who is super nit-picky and focused on clean lines, I've never seen one line that is remotely out of place or blurry. She is an incredible artist, above all. I usually have general ideas of the style that I want and she can pull all my reference pics into something unique and bad-ass For example, my most recent ask was to have a shoulder piece done in cyber-punk style. I gave her about 10 reference photos with so many various elements; the art she drew up was beyond what I even imagined. I get stopped constantly by people complimenting all of my tattoos from her. Polina is also just a wonderful person, kind, caring, and warm; she makes you feel very comfortable during your sessions - even if you twitch a lot like me lol, she's super patient and will take the breaks needed to make sure the work is done well and you feel good. I could continue writing about how much I appreciate Ternotattoo and plan to get many more pieces done by her! Check her out if you get the chance and grab an appointment wherever she is traveling or when you're in LA!
Polina has been tattooing me for almost 2 years now, and after having work done by several artists before her, she is the only one I continue to go to. From booking the tattoo and first consultation figuring out your perfect piece, to admiring the final results, every step of the process is easy, reassuring for those getting their first tattoos, and just overall a wonderful experience. I’ve had about 7 sessions (and 8 tattoos) with Polina and each one I’ve left feeling calm, excited, and overjoyed with my new tattoo. The process of getting tattooed by her is also the most calming, easy, and painless (as painless as a tattoo can be) experience I have ever had. She has an incredibly light touch that makes even a 6 hour session feel somewhat easy. For those looking for their first tattoo, or for those who have had anxiety/trouble with the process of the tattooing itself, I HIGHLY recommend Polina.
Her attention to detail and line work are flawless — I am constantly getting complimented on the tattoos she’s done for me and how amazing her work is. I’ve recommended her to almost 20 people now—from my family and friends to random strangers I meet out and about. I can’t wait to finish the sleeve she’s done for me — she truly brings out so much life and beauty in her artwork. she’s amazing!!! 1000/5 stars

I saw Polina was doing a guest spot in New Orleans so I hit her up because I liked what I’d seen on her instagram. She was super responsive on the front end and I love the tattoo! Quick and painless, definitely recommend her.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of getting two beautiful tattoos from Polina — a stunning dancer and an incredibly detailed Star Wars montage — and I couldn’t be happier. Her fine line work is truly perfection, and the level of detail she puts into her art is just next-level. Each piece feels so personal and thoughtfully crafted, like she’s really honoring the meaning behind it. On top of being insanely talented, she’s just a genuinely fun and easygoing person to be around. The whole experience — from consult to completion — was full of good vibes and great conversation. If you’re looking for someone who brings both artistry and heart to what they do, she’s the one.

FAQ
  • You:
    How to book a session?
    TernoTattoo:
You can book a session using the form on this website. I also accept inquiries via Instagram and email. Please include:
    • A brief description of your idea
    • Preferred size and placement
    • References or examples of style and placement
  • You:
    Do you do color tattoos?
    TernoTattoo:
I specialize in black and gray tattoos. However, I occasionally incorporate 1-2 colors (such as red or purple) as a subtle accent within a black and gray composition.

Reminder: Adding color increases both the session time and overall cost, so please let me know in advance if you'd like to include color in your design.
  • You:
    Does it hurt?
    TernoTattoo:
Pain levels vary depending on individual tolerance and the tattoo's placement. Most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort or a "hot, scratchy feeling." That said, many of my clients find the process quite manageable and often mention that I have a light hand. I believe this is due to my tattooing style – it involves minimal heavy shading, blackwork, or solid coloring, which results in less trauma to the skin.
  • You:
    How much does it cost?
    TernoTattoo:
The starting price is $350. From there, the final cost depends on the design's complexity, size, placement, and level of detail.
  • You:
I want a tattoo but don’t know exactly what – can you help me brainstorm?
    TernoTattoo:
Absolutely! If you’re thinking about getting a tattoo but aren’t sure what you want, we can chat and figure something out together. I’ll guide you through the consultation process to help you find the right idea. I also offer in-person consultations, but only in Los Angeles, where I’m based.

Helpful tips: Try to think about things you like — tattoos, artwork, photographs, or drawings that have caught your eye. Would you like your tattoo to have a deeper meaning? If so, consider elements like your favorite hobbies, places, memories, or even a spiritual animal, plant. It could be something connected to your childhood, a dream you want to manifest, or a symbol that holds personal significance.
  • You:
Is getting a tattoo safe? Is tattoo ink toxic?
    TernoTattoo:
Getting a tattoo is safe as long as you go to an artist who uses high-quality supplies and follows strict sterilization protocols. Many modern tattoo inks are now made with safer, vegan-friendly pigments and regulated ingredients.

I prioritize safety by using the best materials and equipment available to ensure a clean and professional experience for my clients. While most people with tattoos never experience issues, it’s important to be aware of potential risks like allergic reactions, MRI sensitivity. Also as any personal skin or medical conditions that could affect the tattooing and healing process. If you have any concerns, it’s always a good idea to consult a dermatologist before getting a tattoo.
  • You:
How long does the healing process take? What should I do?
    TernoTattoo:
The healing process typically takes 3 to 6 weeks. I provide detailed aftercare instructions during and after your session, but here are the main guidelines:
    • Keep your tattoo covered for the first 3–4 days after the session. I apply second skin for you, so you don’t need to worry about this step.
    • After removing the bandage, start applying a healing ointment and keep your tattoo clean and protected.
    • Avoid suntanning, swimming, excessive sweating, and exposure to hot water/saunas during the healing process.
  • You:
    Do You Use Numbing Cream?
    TernoTattoo:
I do not offer numbing cream in my sessions. Personally, I’m not a fan of it because it changes the skin texture, affecting how smoothly the ink settles into the skin. However, if you prefer to use numbing cream, I’m okay with clients applying it before the session on their own to help reduce sensitivity.
  • You:
Can I bring my own design?
    TernoTattoo:
You’re welcome to bring your own design as a reference, and I can work with it to create a custom tattoo in my style. My policy is to create, not copy, so I won’t replicate someone else’s work exactly. The only exception is if the design was drawn by a relative or a loved one and you want to get it as a tribute. Even in this case, I’ll make small adaptations to match my artistic style while preserving its essence.
